Defoamer for water-miscible cooling lubricants
ANTISCHAUM is an effective defoamer for water-miscible cooling lubricants, both those containing mineral oil and those that are mineral oil-free. ANTISCHAUM is typically added in a concentration of 0.01 - 0.02%. The addition is done incrementally.
Application
Before any additional dosage, it is necessary to wait until the product is fully mixed. The defoamer should be added until sufficient foam breakdown has occurred (maximum concentration of use: 0.05%). The defoamer is pre-mixed with water or used emulsion and added to the system at a point of strong turbulence (but not before the filter).
- Dilution: 1:50,000
- Sufficient for approximately 12,500 liters of water-mixed cooling lubricant
Storage
- A storage temperature of 5 – 40 °C should be maintained, and frost should be avoided.
- The recommended storage time is about 1 year.
